Oregon (7-0) dominated Arizona State (5-2) on Thursday night, 43-21. All 43 of Oregon’s points came in the first half as Kenjon Barner ripped off 143 yards and three touchdowns. Marcus Mariota added 135 yards on the ground, though only threw for 46 yards. ASU QBs Taylor Kelly and Michael Eubank each threw two interceptions in the loss.
Stanford (5-2) ground out a 21-3 victory over Cal (3-2) in the 115th edition of The Big Game. Stepfan Taylor led the Cardinal with 189 yards and a touchdown. Zach Ertz added six receptions, 134 yards receiving, and a touchdown.
Arizona (4-3) blasted Washington (3-4) 52-17 in the desert. Wildcat QB Matt Scott amassed 247 yards and four touchdowns passing, while adding 43 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Ka’Deem Carey rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown as well. Washington’s Austin Seferian-Jenkins had eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Oregon State (6-0) continued their surprising undefeated run with a 21-7 victory over Utah (2-5). Cody Vaz didn’t look as good for the Beavers this week with just 176 yards passing and no touchdowns, but Storm Woods’ three touchdown outing put the team over the top. Utah’s four turnovers were costly, including two interceptions thrown by QB Travis Wilson.
