The Trojans had a very light practice on Thursday, one that had a little bit of rain in the beginning but ended in sunshine. Kiffin spoke on the ongoing situation at cornerback which has been the chink in USC’s armor for some time now, and he also dished on Washington QB Keith Price.
Here are Thursday’s highlights:
Kiffin announced that Torin Harris will indeed start against Washington. He has struggled at points this season, but it seems the coaching staff is still sticking with him.
With the extra practice on Sunday, The Trojans had a Friday-like walk-through today. No pads, no helmets, and in tennis shoes. Sprinklers ran in beginning of practice to simulate Seattle weather.
Kiffin said the guys are excited to go play in a hostile environment against a team that is undefeated at home.
He also said he still thinks Keith Price is an elite quarterback despite the stats. Price has lots of injuries around him, which hurts his ability to flourish.
The Trojans might have one more light practice on Friday before they leave LA for Seattle Friday afternoon.
