USC Football: Trojans Remain At 13 in AP Poll, 5 Other Pac-12 Teams Ranked

The USC Trojans had a bye on Saturday, so fans were instead treated to some of the most exciting–albiet defenseless football–we have seen all season. It seemed like every game ended in a thrilling shootout, a welcome occurrence to a week that was supposed to be filled with droll games. USC stayed at No. 13, despite so many compelling match-ups that could easily have caused the Trojans to fall slightly.

Interestingly, we saw Top 10 teams like LSU, Oregon, and South Carolina struggle early, but as expected, they closed pretty hard and remained perfect. Still, those early struggles did not go unnoticed, and it is reflected in this week’s poll. The Top 5 looks relatively the same, though the LSU Tigers did drop a spot as a result of trailing lowly Townson University early in the first half:
