The Trojans convened at Howard Jones field to for their first practice during the Bye Week. On the other side of this, they will travel to Utah on a Thursday night to take on the Utes. They have ample time to get their minds and bodies ready for this contest, which could easily turn into a trap atmosphere.

Lane Kiffin held his media scrum outside of practice today. Also in interesting news, many of the newspaper beat writers deciding not to attend Tuesday’s practice. Is it a boycott? Perhaps.
RB D.J. Morgan is expected to return to practice this week after having minor knee surgery.
CB Brian Baucham left Saturday’s game in an ambulance and reportedly spent the weekend on a ventilator due to a breathing issue. Coach Kiffin said he is not legally allowed to disclose any updates on his condition.
The head coach also noted that LB Jabari Ruffin will redshirt and they are looking at him for next year doing some pass rushing stuff. Some reported even quipped that he might be moved to defensive end.
