USC Football Recruiting: Trojans’ High School Football Roundup (Aug. 30)

Looking forward to seeing USC’s Class of 2013 play in the Coliseum next season? Let’s take a look at how some of the Trojan commits performed for their high school teams this week:

  • Three USC commits reside in Maryland at East Christian Academy, but the team has more issues than figuring out how to pad the stats of quarterback David Sills and defensive lineman Kenny Bigelow. According to Max Prep, ECA’s game this week was cancelled over concerns that could force the team to be sanctioned by the Maryland Secondary Schools Athletic Association. More: Max Preps
  • Steven Mitchell continued his stellar senior season at Alemany, as the receiver had five catches for 88 yards with three touchdowns. More: Pasadena Star News
  • Sebastian LaRue and his Santa Monica Vikings took out Redondo Union 42-21. LaRue had two touchdown catches, both from inside the five yard line. More: Daily Breeze
  • Justin Davis had two touchdown runs for Stockton-Lincoln in a loss against Pleasant Grove. More: Max Preps
  • Jalen Ramsey had another solid day for Brentwood Academy at receiver, catching two balls for 100 yards. His highlight in a 24-6 win over Montgomery Bell Academy was a 64-yard touchdown reception. More: The Tennessean
