Despite having three receivers committed to the Class of 2013, USC could become the landing place of Paul Harris, a 6-foot-4 wideout out of Maryland. Harris is set to make his college decision on Tuesday, with USC and Tennessee being the schools he’s considering the most.

It’ll be the second straight day that a player will decide between USC and Tennessee, as Nashville corner Jalen Ramsey is set to announce his decision later this afternoon.
Harris is really interested in attending USC, as we mentioned back on July 6th that the Trojans were his ‘favorite’. But, with the Trojans stocked heavily at receiver and a limited number of scholarships restricting the Class of 2013, if Harris chooses USC, he’ll be willing to accept a challenge for playing time.
As of last night, 247/Sports had USC listed as his ‘favorite’, and should he commit, it would be interesting to see how the Trojans would wind out the class, with just two or three scholarships remaining, depending on whether or not Ramsey chooses the Trojans.
With Sebastian LaRue being vocal about taking all five of his official visits, it would be interesting to see if he would open his recruitment to correspond with the commitment of Harris.
Tennessee is also in the running for Harris, and without sanctions and depth issues, there’s plenty of room for Harris to make his home in Knoxville. The Vols have just two wide receiver commits to date, and that includes an unrated player out of nearby Christian Academy of Knoxville, Josh Smith.
Both the Vols and their fans have had a tough time finding things to cheer for of late, and with both Jalen Ramsey and Paul Harris being heavy USC leans, it would be another loss at the hands of Lane Kiffin, should the two skill players decide to skip out on Rocky Top in favor of Tinseltown.
