The USC Class of 2013 has taken its first step towards beefing up the offensive line. Per Pedro Moura of ESPNLA, OL Khaliel Rodgers has committed to USC:

Rodgers is a four-star offensive guard out of Eastern Christian Academy in Elkton, Maryland. He’s 6’3″, 300 pounds, and is considered the top guard in the country. Rodgers was waiting for an offer from ‘SC, which he got over the weekend. His commitment stabilizes that of Kenny Bigelow, as the two are currently high school teammates.
He gives USC its 12th commit on the year, and is the first offensive lineman of the recruiting class. Nico Falah, an offensive tackle, is expected to become the second one tonight.
Rodgers’ bond with Bigelow cannot be understated as the two are not only teammates, but best friends. Bigelow previously mentioned that USC was only number three in his top five besides being committed to the Trojans, and now that they have landed his best friend, the Trojan family can rest easy.
