The NCAA Men’s Golf Championships opened play on Tuesday and will go on until June 3. The event, hosted by USC, is being held at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA.

Thirty teams and six individuals will tee of in the championships. Of those thirty teams, six are from the Pac-12, making it the most represented conference at the event. As a conference, the Pac-12 has won 14 titles, including three in the past eight years. USC is not one of those three teams (Cal, Stanford and UCLA are, however), but this could be the year that the Trojans bring home a men’s golf team title as they have had numerous top ten finishes throughout the season.

Cal enters the tournament with the highest seeding at the No. 3 spot, while USC is listed at No. 6.
