Undrafted Marc Tyler Signs with Green Bay Packers as a Free Agent

Jason O. Watson-US PRESSWIRE

Marc Tyler, as we predicted, went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, but according to his personal Twitter account, the former USC running back is taking his game to Green Bay, as he has signed a free agent contract with the Packers.

Tyler joins Nick Perry in Green Bay, who became the Packers’ first round selection on Thursday night.

Tyler had an up and down senior year for the Trojans, and his draft stock plummeted as the season progressed due to nagging injuries and 40-times that were sub par for his position.

This was the first time since 2009 that a USC running back was not selected in the draft, but Tyler should bring depth to the Packers going into their training camp in July.
