For those of you who have just been DYING to know what’s been going on with former Arkansas/USC quarterback Mitch Mustain, you will be pleased to know that filmmaker Matthew Wolfe has all the answers to this burning question.
Apparantly Wolfe is making a documentary about the former athlete, called “The Identity theft of Mitch Mustain”, and it starts right where Mustain’s career ended:
The Identity Theft of Mitch Mustain – Teaser from Incognito Mosquito Flicks on Vimeo.
Yeah, we don’t know why this is happening, either.
However, there are two things of note to take away from this trailer:
1. Notice that USC is DESTROYING Arkansas 44-7 at the opening on the trailer. THAT’S the clip they decided to open with. To be fair, this was the first game he ever started in, in what was to be the “Mitch Mustain Era” at Arkansas. But the point still stands: USC IS BEATING ARKANSAS 44 TO 7.
2. The trailer is supposed to be showing Mustain’s life after college, and it would seem that Mustain wants to spend the rest of his years as an assassin or a mercenary or something. We clearly see him in the forrest practicing his marksmanship…with an ASSAULT RIFLE and a HAND GUN. Now, I’ve never been hunting myself but I’m pretty sure you cant go Big Buck Hunting with an assault rifle. But maybe they do things differently in Arkansas.
Clearly, Mustain’s life after football is going to be way more exciting than the time he spent as an 8-0 starter at Arkansas before he transfered to USC and then faded into oblivion. I don’t know about you, but I will ABSOLUTELY be watching this documentary.
Fight On Forever, Mitch!
